I

and lots
and lots
of lovely long hair,
75cm to be precise.
What do Demi Moore, Mena Suvari, Britney Spears, Agyness Deyn, Natalie Portman, Sinead O'Connor, Robin Tunney, and Grace Jones all have in common?
The controversial Irish musician Sinead O'Connor became the most iconic bald woman in modern history.
Petite blonde beauty Mena Suvari, who is most recognisable from her part in the American Pie movies, shocked everyone when she was photographed on beach in the Bahamas with her freshly cropped hair do.
Actress Robin Tunney bravely went the chop for her role as grungy Debra in the 1995 movie Empire Records.
Anyone in their right mind would have to agree that Natalie Portman is one of the most beautiful creatures on earth. That intense torture scene in the James McTiegue film V for Vendetta saw her sacrifice her luscious locks all in the name of her craft.
Singer, actress, model and Avante Garde style icon Grace Jones has had many a wacky hairdo over her long career but the shaved head thing seems to work best on her.
Demi Moore. Well, what is there to say other than Oh Dear... 10 points for at least trying this look. But please spare us all the pain and suffering of seeing this ever again... She was paid to do it for a film role, so let's just pray that Ridley Scott doesn't decide G.I Jane needs a sequel.
Now, here is an example of a B-A-D shaped head for no hair. Everyone is familiar with the train wreck that is Britney Spears. Unfortunately the buzz cut on this once pure pop star just screams 'I'm having a major mental breakdown'.
The first photographs of model Agyness Deyn's shorn head were beamed in from Coachella Music Festival in Palm Springs, California only a month ago. I'm still trying to make up my mind about this one... Is it good or a good or bad look for our local London girl?
If you haven't guessed it yet, I am shaving my head!
Not because I am having a mental breakdown or an identity crisis. Neither am I being paid big bucks to act in a blockbuster film and I haven't secured a lucrative modelling contract.
I am fundraising for Ovarian Cancer Research in the U.K. and also in Australia. It is a very worthy cause close to my heart and every little bit of financial support is most appreciated!

If you are a reader from my beautiful homeland of Australia then you can donate ----> HERE Just remember to put in Stephanie Marks is shaving her head in the box on the donation page where it says other.
Another fabulous foundation that will benefit from my head shave is
